Clean one-bedroom apartment in the heart of New York City, a couple of blocks from Times Square.
It's a one bedroom apartment, and while it's not large, by New York standards, it's considered pretty comfortable. There's just one full sized bed, so it is assumed you are sleeping together.
There is also a loveseat, which is very comfortable, but does not convert to a bed, and may not be long enough for tall people to sleep on comfortably.
This area is lively long into the night, with many stores open for shopping past midnight, so it's a very exciting district for first-time visitors.
But don't worry, the apartment itself is very quiet. It's in a doorman building with a communal rooftop that can be used until 10 pm. By the way, the views from up there are UNREAL!! They are picture-perfect.
Our neighbourhood is actually called Hell's Kitchen, but don't let that scare you. It's in the heart of the theatre district, and around the corner from 9th Avenue which is full of good restaurants. It's the most exciting part of town to be staying in!
Easy transportation, since nearly every train stops at 42nd Street.
Times Square is a major commercial intersection, tourist destination, entertainment centre and neighbourhood in the Midtown Manhattan section of New York City, at the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue.
It stretches from West 42nd to West 47th Streets.
Brightly adorned with billboards and advertisements, Times Square is sometimes referred to as "The Crossroads of the World"
One of the world's busiest pedestrian areas, it is also the hub of the Broadway Theatre District and a major centre of the world's entertainment industry.
Times Square is one of the world's most visited tourist attractions, drawing an estimated 50 million visitors annually.
One Times Square is the site of the annual New Year's Eve Ball Drop since 1907, and it continues today, attracting over a million visitors to Times Square every year.
In Times Square you can also find the TKTS Discount Price Ticket Booth for reduced price last-minute tickets to Broadway shows, under a set of bleacher-like stairs, which is used by people to sit, talk, eat, and take photographs.
I'm a school teacher, a graphic designer, and also do some property management.
Currently I'm living with my wife in Sweden, which is twice as beautiful as New York City but only half as interesting.
If you want to see pristine lakes, come to Sweden.
But if you want to see art, hear music and feast on great food, go to New York City instead.
