Our Neighbourhood

This is a very calm and peaceful neighbourhood, and Chambly has a very special charm of its own. You can go for historic walks and see Fort Chambly, and you can visit the local hostelries, enjoying a good meal and the excellent local beer.

In the summer there are lots of shows, festivals and activities for children in Chambly: and there is a public swimming pool, a nice park, and bike paths (to Les Montérégiades and La Route des Champs), locks, and water activities on Chambly Basin (canoeing, kayaking, pedal boating, etc). And you can go on lot of lovely walks too!

Chambly is located halfway between Montreal, the City of Light, with entertainment and facilities of all kinds, and the Eastern Townships, offering many and varied activities, both in the winter (skiing, snowshoeing, etc) and the summer.

About Us

We are a family of four. We, the parents, are both forty years old, and we have two boys aged eleven and nine.

We have done one home exchange already, and we found the experience so rewarding that we are looking forward to many more home swaps in future years.
