Our house is ideally located as it is only fifteen minutes from Paris. It was entirely renovated in 2010.

Here is the specification:

- Ground floor: Cosy kitchen, dining room and living room

- First floor: Three bedrooms, one for each one of our three girls (can sleep four in all); bathroom with shower and toilet

- A spiral staircase brings you to the second floor, a loft with a bedroom with a double bed and en-suite facilities

- We have renovated the basement and turned it into a private apartment with yet another bedroom. There is also a video room, as well as an area with washing machine and tumble drier, a wine cellar and a freezer. We have also fitted in an extra shower and toilet.

From our family home you have easy access to all the fabulous tourist attractions in Paris, Versailles and Saint-Germain-en-Laye, without the inconveniences of traffic, pollution and noise!


Our Neighbourhood

The area is really nice as we benefit from having all the attractions and facilities of Paris nearby, while still living in a pleasant, green area, with many parks, the Seine and the forest nearby.

More about the neighbourhood

Chatou has all the basic commodities you need (supermarkets, bakeries, groceries, butcher's shops, post office, and a swimming pool with a solarium) and there is a RER train station (Chatou-Croissy), all within five minutes' walk.

You can go walking, biking or roller skating along the banks of the Seine, or explore neighbouring towns such as Le Vésinet and Rueil.

And for those of you who are keen golfers there is also the Saint-Cloud Golf Club just a few minutes' drive away.


About Us

We are a family of five, with three girls aged seventeen, thirteen and six.

My husband is a computer analyst, and I am a history teacher, working in a high school nearby.
