Lovely, recently renovated two-storey house, 80 m², located in a quiet up-market village called Puyricard, close to Aix-en-Provence.

It is oriented north-south, and has a terrace and a garden which are sunny all the year round.

Upstairs: A large bedroom overlooking the street, and two smaller bedrooms facing the garden. Bathroom with toilet.

The largest bedroom has a 140/200 cm double bed, the second bedroom has a 140/190 cm double bed, and the third bedroom has a 80/200 cm single bed. In addition, the downstairs living room has a 140/190 cm sofa bed.

Everything in this house is convenient and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the beds are of good quality and very comfortable. The house is bright, clean, and easy to maintain, and the space, though small, is very well distributed.

The house is semi-detached, but the neighbourhood is very quiet (and safe).

There is a small garden on the street side of the building (providing more shade on hot days!), and also a garage as well as a parking space.

Our Neighbourhood Golf

Puyricard is a genuine village, with a Provençal market on Friday mornings, a beautiful Romanesque church, and several beautiful châteaux.

It is located on a high plateau in the Trévaresse mountains, which means that you get some cool nights during the summer heat waves.

The village has preserved its authentic character and charm, which means that it is a very popular place to live, and property here is quite expensive.

The surrounding countryside consists of vineyards and woodlands, and there is a beautiful canal where it is lovely to go for walks.

Aix-en-Provence is seven kilometres away, or ten minutes by car, and there are buses which run every twenty minutes.

Marseille is half-an-hour away, and the Mediterranean is forty-five minutes away.

There are three public swimming pools in the centre of Aix-en-Provence, including an outdoor one, and in Puyricard you can swim in the beautiful outdoor swimming pool which belongs to the Country Club. However, personally I prefer to swim in a lake at Peyrolles (about twenty-five minutes' drive away), where the water is lovely and the facilities suitable for children.

Mont Sainte-Victoire is thirty minutes away, the sublime Sainte-Baume mountain ridge is forty-five minutes away, and the Verdun Gorge is less than an hour away - so you can go for lovely hikes, both in the hinterland and by the sea!

I am a very discreet person, and treat other people with great respect.

I am sixty years old and work as a nurse in a psychiatric hospital in Aix-en-Provence.

My hobbies are gardening, health, sports, reading and travelling.

I have a twenty-two-year-old son who is a psychology student, and a twenty-five-year-old daughter who lives in Paris and works in the audio-visual field.

I have many friends with whom I like to share my leisure activities.

I am am particularly interested in proposals of exchange coming from the United States (New York and its region, California and why northwest). Canada could also seduce me. But why not Australia, New Zealand or a corner(place) of Europe? In any case I shall take care of your house because I am someone person in charge and attentive. The not simultaneous exchanges can be possible in summer, between July 15th and August 15th. I am opened to any date of the year because my dates of holidays can be flexible (but cannot exceed a period superior to 4 weeks).
