Our Home

My spacious apartment is located in a lovely 1900 art déco building. Apart from a fully equipped kitchen with pantry, a large walk-in-closet, hardwood floors and and a daylight bath with tub it has a large livingroom with a dining area. The bedroom is light-flooded with an adjacent balcony opening on a green and quiet patio.

After waking up to rustling tree leaves or the song of the magpies raising their young this balcony is the perfect place for a quiet breakfast in the sun with the morning paper.

Our Neighbourhood

The area, Prenzlauer Berg (Helmholtzplatz neighbourhood) is where many artists, self employed cultural entrepeneurs and the like live. There are many little shops around selling organic food, 60s furniture, vintage clothing, art, bric-a-brac etc.

On thursdays and saturdays there´s a farmer´s market for cooking orgies and on sundays Berlin´s best flea market happens to be in walking distance. Berlin´s nicest park entices you to hang out, barbecue, skate or run in the morning. There´s excellent public transport to all the other interesting spots.

About Us

My partner Katrin and I are in our thirties and love to travel. We love to explore other vibrant metropoles just as much as hiking in the mountains or steaming away on some far-away beach. When being in Berlin we go out a lot and enjoy Berlin´s superb cultural life or enjoy the lovely landscape around Berlin on countless bike-trips.

More about us

Katrin is a musician and artist and I am an anasthetist and intensive care physician. Since we don´t live together we are somewhat flexible about the dates.
