How do I delete my listing?

If you are no longer able to swap or rent your home, or would simply like to remove your listing from Geenee, simply use the link at the top of this page, and send a message to our Customer Support – it helps if you quote your 6 digit number property reference number, and the email address that you are registered with.

  1. Please delete my listing. We no longer live in Chicago and I had forgotten the listing existed until we just received an inquiry yesterday. Thank you!

  2. The best way to remove your listing, is to contact Customer Support – click Contact Us which appears at the top of most pages, including this one.

    We like to check that you really do want to remove the listing permanently, as it takes you some time to make your entry, and gather your contacts, so we don’t want to delete everything until we are sure that this is the best option for you.

  3. I would like to delete my listing. I didn’t really understand what the website was about and now i’ve submitted my ad, I have realised I’m on the wrong site. Sorry.

  4. Having re-read your ad, I now realise that you are probably looking for a permanent home exchange site. We try to make it obvious that Geenee is for holiday exchange only, but it gets missed sometimes. Just click on Contact Us at the top of this page, and our Customer Support will help you.

  5. I would like to remove my listing please as we have moved states and our home in Brisbane is now rented out permanently. Thank you.

  6. Again, just click on Contact Us at the top of this page, and let us know if you want to suspend membership, which will save typing all the details in again at some time in the future, or delete completely.

  7. For security reasons, we can’t delete listings just because someone has posted a message here – there is no way to check that the sender is who they claim to be. So for that reason, we ask you to drop us a line, from the contact page (the link is at the top of the page), and our Customer Support people will delete the listing for you.

  8. At the top of this page, is a link to our Contact Page. If you send an email from there, explaining why you want to delete the listing, we will either
    a) remove you and your property completely from the listings,
    b) remove one of your properties (if you have more than one), leaving your membership active
    c) suspend your membership, so that you can pick up later, without having to re-enter all the information.
    d) If you don’t have any properties listed, your membership can be suspended. You won’t be able to contact anyone, as you have nothing to exchange, but your details can be kept on file for you to use if / when you come back again

    The only reason that we ask why you want to delete the listing, is so that we make the correct choice for you.

  9. We tried the contact page, but we keep getting an error saying that our email wasn’t sent and to contact Geenee another way. Is there an email address we can use instead?

  10. I have checked, and contact mails are being sent from the page that I arrived on. However, you may have ended up somewhere else. If there is any possibility that you can find that page again, it would be very much appreciated. Meanwhile, I will get our Customer Support to email you.
