Our Home

Beautiful house, 150 m², in one of the best quarters of the mediaeval city of Utrecht.

It has a professional-style kitchen, a huge living room, two bedrooms, an office, and a modern bathroom.

There is a garden around three sides of the house.

There is also a garage, which we do not use for the car but as a second kitchen, and as a general work and storage place where we also keep our bicycles.

Utrecht is situated in the centre of the Netherlands, near the eternal city of Amsterdam, and it takes thirty minutes to get from the centre of Utrecht to the centre of Amsterdam by car or by train/metro.

Utrecht railway station is five minutes' walk from our home, and the motorway is five minutes' drive away.


Our Neighbourhood

The part of the city where we live is a so called "garden quarter", where every house has a garden both in front and at the rear.

Utrecht is situated in the centre of Holland and is surrounded by various kinds of landscapes: forests, low mountains, big rivers, canals, lakes and farmland.

Everything works well in our city and in our country, and it's very nice to live here.

There is a shopping centre five minutes' walk from our house, and the beautiful mediaeval centre of the city is just ten minutes' bike ride away.

The house is fully equipped with everything you need for a nice stay!


About Us

We are a married couple, both aged seventy but still very much engaged in both cultural events and sports.

We are educated at university level (biochemics and history).

We have one son who also lives in Utrecht with his wife.

For our holidays we are very much oriented on Italy.

More about us

We have been there more than thirty times, from the north to the south, and we feel like Italians ourselves; we love the people and the country.
