Our Home

Our 80 m2 apartment is situated in a quiet small town called Medvode (it means "between two rivers").

It has a master bedroom for two people, another bedroom with a bunk bed, and two people can also sleep on the couch in the living room.

The surrounding area is very calm, and the building is small and only has four neighbours which are all very nice.

The bathroom has a bathtub and a shower, and we have a balcony as well.

Behind the house there is a vegetable garden, and you are welcome to collect the vegetables from it when living in our home during the summer.


Our Neighbourhood GolfSkiing

The beautiful capital Ljubljana is just fifteen kilometres away (thirty minutes by bus that leaves three hundred metres from our place).

Lake Bled (a beautiful lake with a small island in the middle) is just forty kilometres away, and is very popular with tourists.

Our town is surrounded by big mountains and small hills, so it is perfect for hikers.

Slovenia is a very small country. In one hour you can be skiing in the mountains in the winter, and in the summer you can be at the seaside in an hour as well.

We have beautiful forest, lakes, rivers, castles and old towns.

If you wish to visit Venice, it is just two and a half hours away, and both Zagreb and Austria are just an hour away.


About Us

We are an easygoing family of four.

I'm a French teacher, my husband is a badminton coach, and our girls are eight and six years old.

We love travelling, hiking, skiing, watching movies, reading and writing.

My husband and our older daughter play the piano and sing.
