Our Home

For the last thirty-one years we have lived in Kibbutz Cabri on the western slopes of Western Galilee, Israel, with a sea view towards the northern Mediterranean shore over banana and avocado fields.

We have a half-duplex house of 120 m2 with one bedroom on the upper floor, another bedroom on the ground floor, a living room, a kitchen and two porches, simple, friendly, nothing fancy.

There are many tourist attractions scattered around Galilee and the north-western shore area.

Driving time by car to some important local destinations:

Nahariya: 10 minutes
Sea shore: 15 minutes
Akko: 25 minutes
Nazareth: 45 minutes
Haifa: 50 minutes
Tel Aviv: 110 minutes
Tel Aviv airport: 120 minutes
Jerusalem: 140 minutes

There is a train line starting in Nahariya which services Haifa, Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv International Airport, Jerusalem and Beer Sheba on hourly basis, with reasonable fares.

Nearest metropolitan areas: Nahariya-Akko (market town) and Haifa.


About Us

We are an active, retired freelancing couple, working in organizational consulting (she), and business development (he).

We were born in Israel, but travel worldwide.

We love sailing yachts in Turkey and Greece.

As a family experience, we lived in New England, USA, for three years.

More about us

Other members of our family live on the same kibbutz. Some of them have spent a few years in USA and other countries, and they will be glad to help you, since they know the feeling of landing in new environment.

Our experience in home swapping and pet-sitting outside Israel include Rome, Boston and Portugal.
