Our Home

We have a house in Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands.

The house is located about eight minutes' walk from the city centre.

The greater Tórshavn area has about 20.000 inhabitants.

There is a small kitchen, three sitting rooms, four bedrooms (whereof one is used as a nursery) and two bathrooms.

There are eight beds in all.

The house is not new, but some renovations were done in 2014.

Outside there is a big garden.


Our Neighbourhood

Quiet area a short distance from the city centre, where you will find restaurants, cafés, shops and a shopping mall, and at weekends bars and discos.

Walking distance to swimming pool, training centres etc.

In the city centre there is a tourist information office where you can get information about tours to other parts of the islands.


About Us

We are a regular family with the parents in full-time jobs, and the children doing free-time activities such as handball, football, hip-hop dancing and choir singing.

We like to stay much outside when on vacation, to get as many sun hours as possible, since the Faroes are not a place to wear bikinis or shorts.
