Lovely holiday cottage, completely rebuilt in late 2013.

This is an ideal holiday home for couples who need to get away from a hectic work life, or for families who would like to spend a week in the countryside.

Furthermore, the house is warm whatever the season since we have installed a brand new pellet-burning stove in the living room, where you can enjoy sitting in front of the flames on chilly evenings.

The house is lovely too if you have a dog, for the garden is totally fenced in.

Our Neighbourhood

The house is in located in a summer cottage area - some would say pure countryside!

But close to the house there is a shopping centre called Grantoftecenteret. The address is Vestbuen 157, 2750 Ballerup, and it is open from 8 am to 9 pm every day of the week.

More about the neighbourhood

If you want a bigger shopping centre you can go to Ballerupcenteret (www.ballerupcentret.dk) at Baltorpvej 2, 2750 Ballerup. This is about three kilometres from the house, so you need a car or a bike.

Furthermore, there is a nice organic farm only two kilometres from the house (www.grantoftegaard.dk), where visitors can see adorable sheep and rabbits and get a ride in a horse-drawn carriage.

About Us

I work as a freelance journalist and film-maker, so I often use the house if I need a place for myself to write a script or an article.

However, I should point out that you will need to bring or rent a car or a bike, since Ballerup railway station is three kilometres away.

More about us

The train journey from Ballerup to Copenhagen takes about twenty-five minutes, and the trains run every ten to twenty minutes.
