Our 1000 sq ft cottage is a self contained unit in our beautiful two acres of park-like grounds set off a rural road.
Small pets are welcome with deposit.
There are two bedrooms: a large master bedroom (12' x 12') with a large bay window, and a second bedroom (10' x 10'), also with a bay window with view of the fruit tree orchard and garden. There is also a full four-piece bathroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, dishes, cutlery, cookware, and basic serving dishes and seasonings.
There is also a Washing machine and tumble dryer.
Covered patio parking.
Flat-screen televisions in each room.
Furnished with La-Z-Boy couch/futon/love-seat, kitchen table, chairs, beds and bedding, window coverings and more.
The neighbourhood is quiet and rural, with welcoming neighbours and a homestead feel.
There is a golf course and a nursery within walking distance, and the world renowned trophy fishing Dragon Lake is just eight kilometres away.
Quesnel Lake is just an hour and a half away.
All the main big box stores are just a few minutes' drive away, and it takes just a few more minutes to the heart of the Gold Pan City of Quesnel, where you can take a stroll down town and visit the array of little boutiques and shops and eateries.
We are just ninety-five kilometres from the historic Barkerville ghost town (shuttle service available).
The artist town of Wells is just a mere eighty-eight kilometres away, and there you can enjoy much music and entertainment through the year, and especially the Wells Arts Festival which is held each summer.
Troll ski hill is just fifty-eight kilometres away.
We are a family of six. Our boys live on their own, and our girls live here at home.
We have two homes on our property: a large main house, and a cottage out front.
I run our bed and breakfast establishment, and I'm also a home-maker.
My husband works for the railway.
We are looking to have experiences of travelling in other countries as a family, and sometime just as a husband and wife.
We have been married for a very long time and have enjoyed some travel thus far, but we are now looking to try this new way of staying in other places as opposed to the typical hotel or resort type stays.
We are hoping by travelling and staying this way we would get to have more of a whole encompassed type experience through living in a real community as a change to the typical touristy type hotel stays.
