Our Neighbourhood

Amsterdam East is the latest hotspot in town, with new restaurants and shops opening every month (for instance one that specializes in oysters).

There is a farmers' market around the corner.

My house is on a quiet waterfront, but by bike you are in the middle of everything in five minutes.

A ferry takes you to hip Amsterdam North.

Almost next door is a windmill with a microbrewery, popular with local expats.

You can reach all the famous museums in just twenty minutes.

There are no tourists in my area, but it is still very international, with lot of young expats enjoying the Amsterdam lifestyle.


About Us

As an arts editor, I travel the world to write stories on opera, jazz, food and modern art.

I prefer to stay in quiet spots, just outside the city centres.

Being Dutch I speak a lot of languages, which makes travelling a lot easier.

I travel alone. I don't smoke.
