Our Neighbourhood Beach

The cottage is situated in the very quiet hamlet of St James, but is just five minutes' walk from the river Bure and the Broadland village of Coltishall, where there are a couple of shops, a post office, a few pubs, a pharmacy and a butcher.

More about the neighbourhood

It is just a few minutes' drive from several other beautiful Broadland villages where boats can be hired to explore the Norfolk Broads.

There are many beautiful beaches within approximately twenty minutes' drive from the cottage, so it is perfectly located for a beach holiday.

There is a train station at neighbouring Wroxham, from which the local train takes you either into Norwich or towards the coastal villages of Cromer and Sheringham.

The lovely city of Norwich is twenty minutes' drive away.

About Us

We are a sociable married couple with two small children (aged five and three).

We enjoy travelling, and since having the children especially enjoy beach holidays, or ones where there are lots of activities to keep little ones occupied!
