Our Neighbourhood

Birkerà¸d is located in the municipality of Rudersdal, a suburb in the northern outskirts of Copenhagen. It is It is a safe, green and friendly area, which is surrounded by several lakes and small woodlands.

More about the neighbourhood

Our house is located in a small, quiet cul-de-sac, twenty minutes' drive, or less than thirty minutes by commuter train, from downtown Copenhagen.

We are within walking distance of all local amenities, shopping, transportation and nature.

There is a golf club just one kilometre away.

We are ten minutes' drive from the nearest beach, and a little further from the best beaches on the northern coast (thirty-five minutes' drive).

There is also an open air swimming pool nearby.

We have bikes which you are welcome to use.

About Us

Our family consist of ourselves and our three children, an eighteen-year-old girl, and two boys aged fifteen and seven.

We love to travel, and we think that swapping houses is a great opportunity to live as a local.
