Our Neighbourhood

Saint-Rémy-de-Provence is located in the heart of the regional nature park of the Alpilles, near Baux-de-Provence, Fontvieille (with Daudet's windmill ten kilometres away) Arles, and Avignon (with the famous bridge and the papal palace).

Cavaillon (20 km), Nîmes (40 km), L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, the Camargue, Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer (60 km), the Luberon (with the famous village of Gordes) and Mont-Ventoux.

This is a very touristy little town: enjoy the heat, the cicadas, the Provençal market, the home of Nostradamus, the art galleries, the nature walks, the locations painted by Van Gogh, the Roman archaeological site of Glanum, the seasonal movement of people with their livestock between summer and winter pastures, festivals, bullfights, the Assumption of Mary festivals on 15th of August, Lac de Peiroou, and the three hundred sunny days every year.

Public swimming complex with three separate pools, skateboard park, bike trails and cinema.


About Us

We are a family of three. We, the parents, are in our forties, and we have a ten-year-old girl.

We have already done two home exchanges. Both of them were delightful experiences, and we have kept in touch with our exchange partners ever since.

More about us

We love to explore our village and our traditions, and we have prepared a little notebook for you with suggestions for outings.

We have a cat that will need feeding and cuddling.
