Our Neighbourhood Beach

Our hometown, Antalya, situated on the south coast of Turkey, is famous not only for its beaches, the crystal clear sea, the natural amenities and the climate, but also for its historical sites.

The area around Antalya is full of ancient Lycian, Pisidan and Pamphylian sites to which you can make one-day excursions: Termassos, located amidst the lofty peaks above Antalya; Perge, seventeen kilometres away, Aspendos forty-nine kilometres away, and Side 80 kilometres away.

There is also a marvellous archaeological site, Phaselis, where one can experience ancient history first-hand, surrounded by a pine forest by a beach.

Also, being the fourth largest city in Turkey, Antalya has all the facilities and activities one can wish: golf and tennis courts, public swimming pools, cinemas, shopping malls, night clubs, bars and theatres - and, not to forget, three hundred sunny days a year!


About Us

I am a forty-seven-year-old labour inspector, and my wife is a sports teacher.

We love to travel, and there are so many places we would still like to see.
