Châlet cosy en centre Alsace

Our Home

Wooden châlet built it in 2013 and currently rented out for holidays.

It is right next to our own home, so non-simultaneous exchanges would be possible, and we will be happy to help and assist you in any way needed.

We live in a small village in the Vallée de Villé, close to the wine route.

More about this property

Everything you need for a pleasant stay: garden, covered terrace, parking, WiFi, TV, dishwasher, etc.Â

Open-plan kitchen (with dishwasher, microwave, hob, toaster, Philips Senseo coffee maker, kettle, raclette and fondue machine, vacuum cleaner, etc) with a dining area and a relaxation area (with stereo system, TV, DVD player, WiFi, board games, books, etc).

Downstairs there is also a bathroom and a separate toilet. The bathroom has two washbasins and a large shower (with hair dryer, towel dryer, washing machine, etc).

Upstairs there is a bedroom alcove with a double bed, and a bedroom with two single beds.

Finally there is also a mezzanine den or bedroom with a double bed - but watch the ceiling: the height is only 1.20 metres!

There is also a nice porch with a large table and a cosy sofa, and an enclosed garden with sun loungers, a barbecue, and even a small vegetable garden.

There is also a parking space.

And during non-simultaneous exchange we can provide breakfast if you wish!

Our Neighbourhood Skiing

We are passionate about the area where we live and we will be very happy to help you discover it. We are lucky enough to work from home, so we can easily help you.

Since the châlet is right next to our house (but completely independent), we are always within easy reach.

More about the neighbourhood

We live in a small village of less than seven hundred inhabitants, so peace reigns supreme. There are unfortunately no shops in the village itself, but there are some just a few minutes' drive away. It is a real pleasure to live in a place which is so quiet. And furthermore we are just fifty metres from a forest with many signposted footpaths.

You are just a few kilometres from tourist spots such as the Alsace wine route, the Montagne des Singes monkey sanctuary, the Volerie des Aigles eagle reserve, the medieval castle of Haut-Kœnigsbourg, Strasbourg, Sélestat, Colmar, the Ribeauvillé region, Kaysersberg, Riquewihr, the Europa-Park theme park, The Alsace Ecomuseum, etc - and there a lots of local events too (the Décibulles Festival, the MineralExpo at Strasbourg, the Patchwork European Quilt Triennial, the Colmar Wine Fair, the European trade fair at Strasbourg, etc).

Whether you come for just a weekend, a few days or several weeks, you can look forward to a lovely time!

About Us

We are Fabrice and Fanny, and we have a large family of four teenagers.

We all work from home, so we spend a lot of time together.

We like exploring new regions and Friends told us about home exchanging, so we decided to give this a try.

More about us

Fabrice is a big fan of sports cars and especially of rallying, and Fanny likes to get involved in village life.

Our greatest passion is to discover new horizons and find out about other ways of life (there is always something new to experience even just a few kilometres away). Gastronomy and local lifestyles, bargain hunting at the flea markets, strolling through the narrow streets - every moment is a great discovery!
