Lovely Traditional Greek Island House
Our Home
Beautiful traditional Greek island house, with a big terrace and a big garden (500 m2) with trees.
A hundred metres from a bus stop, six kilometres from the capital of the island, and two and a half kilometres from the nearest beach.
Close to Italy, Athens (where we live), the Ionian Islands and the Peloponnese (where we have another house at Krathio).
Almost every night there are traditional events, classical concerts etc.
Our Neighbourhood
Traditional restaurants and taverns with live music, bars, cafés and supermarkets three to five hundred metres away.
Achillion, where Elisabeth, the Empress of Austria and Queen of Hungary had her palace, is nearby, just one and a half kilometres away.
There are many small traditional villages all around us, and the bright sun, the blue sky, the endless beaches and the deep blue water will enchant you!
Liston, with its Museum of Asian Art,its Old Town and its old churches, is just five kilometres away.
And the sunset at Pelekas is famous!
About Us
We are a retired couple, both around fifty-five years old.
I, Virginia, was a nurse, and Makis, my husband, worked as manager for an international company.
We have two sons, thirty-two and twenty-five years old.
Sotos, who has a Master's degree from Columbia Business School, is currently working in New York.
Thanos, who is a fashion photographer, works in London.
We usually travel with a couple of friends, but this time we would prefer a long-term exchange with New York, so that we could visit Sotos.
So if you have a second home in New York, we can offer you an exchange with Corfu for seven to eight months, or with Krathio for three to four months, and perhaps with Athens for one or two weeks - or perhaps six months this year and six months next year.
Whichever option you choose would be no problem for us.
