Absolute quiet, although in the town centre!

There is internet access, and there are plenty of books and also some board games, but we should perhaps point out that we don't have any television.


Our Neighbourhood

The house is located in the Five Avenues area, five minutes from Parc Longchamp with its metro stations, trams, and bike rental facilities.

Place Sébastopol is also close by, with its little daily market and nice food shops.

Also near are Cours Julien and La Plaine (Place Jean Jaurès) which are both very lively, with markets three times a week at La Plaine and a farmers' market on Wednesdays at Cours Julien, and there are plenty of cafés, restaurants, shops, galleries and designer boutiques nearby.

We are twenty minutes' walk from the Old Harbour, and thirty minutes by tram or bus from some lovely beaches where you can go swimming.


About Us

We are a family of five: Glenn, Professor of Mathematics at Aix-Marseille University; Estelle, professor at Paris-Sorbonne University; Jeanne, six years old; Luce, four years old; and Madeleine, three months old.

We are open to all destinations, our dates are flexible, and we are also open to weekend breaks in major European cities.
