Maison D'architecte - Vue Sur Loire
Architect-designed bioclimatic house built in 2012, with garden.
It is bright, spacious and functional, and constructed of environment-friendly materials.
We are just six hundred metres from a small town with 2,500 inhabitants, where you will find everything you need.
In the distance, on the other side of the Loire, you look out over the Coteaux du Layon vineyards.
We are fifteen minutes' walk from the harbour of Possonière, where you can enjoy all the facilities of the Loire: canoeing and ordinary boat trips, taverns etc.
The vineyards of Anjou are all around us: Layon, Aubance, Savennières, Quarts de Chaume, etc - for wine tasting or just nice walks!
The area is well known for its châteaux and old castles. The famous castle in Angers is just fifteen minutes away by train, and the Renaissance Château de Serrantone is just eight kilometres away.
We love travelling, but the family keeps growing, so we don't go very far any more.
What we are primarily looking for for our holidays is the great outdoors, nature and the sea.
With a little one who is less than a year old, another major occupation these days is taking a nap!
