Situated in a traditional Spanish area, but only twenty-five minutes from Marbella and the coast.

Situated on a very sought-after urbanisation with a mix of Spanish and foreigners owning properties.

We are between two towns, the larger cosmopolitan town of Alhaurà­n el Grande and the smaller, more industrial/agricultural town of Coà­n.

The new road that passes the urbanisation takes you directly to Marbella (twenty to twenty-five minutes), Mijas (ten to fifteen minutes) or Fuengirola (fifteen minutes).

We are ruralish but in no way isolated - the best of both!

About Us

We are both in our forties, and have a young son who is six.

We have travelled extensively and settled in Spain mainly for the weather and close proximity to the UK, so that we could commute there for work.

More about us

We love it here and don't want to sell (couldn't even if we wanted to in today's market!), but we need to know if the UK would be a better place for us now that we have a child, as we have to think about his schooling and education.

We don't want to rent out the house either, so thought the best idea would be to find somebody that would like to live abroad for a year or more and look after our house while we looked after theirs.

We are very considerate and trustworthy, and our son is very respectful - so he wouldn't be rampaging around your house and trashing it!
