Modern (2002), spacious (120 m2) groundfloor apartment in a quiet street in the trendy "Indische buurt" in Eastern Amsterdam.

Our apartment is located on the ground and the first floor and includes a large private garden. On the ground floor is a very spacious and light living area with a fully equiped kitchen and access to the garden.

There is also a study with a foldable bed for guests (120*200).

Upstairs there are three bedrooms (one master bedroom, two children’s rooms) and a bathroom with separate bath and shower.

We also have several bikes available and have a parking place below the apartment.

We are looking for an exchange for several weeks in July 2019.


Our Neighbourhood

The neighbourhood is currently one of the most popular of Amsterdam, especially among students and young urban professionals. The nearby Javastraat offers an ever increasing range of shops, trendy bars and eateries and a cinema.

The house is walking distance from the Amsterdam zoo (Artis) and the very nice Flevopark.

Nearby is also the famous brewery "Brouwerij 't IJ", a great place to taste some original beers in an environment which is popular with both locals and tourists.


About Us

The proud owners of this apartment are Jante and Stefan, both 37, and two young boys (2,5 and half a year).

We enjoy food, theatre, running, cycling and sailing (we have a sailing boat in the harbour of beautiful Enkhuizen).
