South Africa / Cape Town
Luxury Apartment With Panoramic Sea Views
Our Home
My apartment:
On the sixteenth floor, north facing, with panoramic views of Cape Town harbour.
Devil's Peak, The Green Point stadium where the soccer world cup took place, Robin Island, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, the Cape Town Convention Centre, Table view and even the Stellenbosch mountains can be seen from my balcony.
Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a spacious living, dining and kitchen area.
Fully-equipped kitchen.
Flat-screen TV, and a DVD-player.
Air conditioning.
Microwave.
Internet.
Washing machine.
Fridge.
Radio.
Three lifts.
Brand-new modern furniture.
The building:
The Icon building is a landmark in the CBD of Cape Town.
The famous Food Lover's Market is on the ground floor, as well as a beauty salon and a Vida e Cafè store.
The building also has a fully equipped gym and a large swimming pool and tanning area available to residents and guests of the hotel.
I have two parking bays in the basement, accessed via a boom with twenty-four hour security.
The concierge service at the reception is available to the residents.
Our Neighbourhood

The local area:
The entrance is on Lower Long Street, down the road from the cultural hub and vibrant nightlife that Long Street has to offer.
The building is two blocks up from the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
It is two minutes from the access to the N1 and N2 highways, and two minutes from the ocean.
The area is clean and safe.
There is a Virgin Active health club and gym across the road.
It is close to everything in Cape Town, since it is right in the centre, and cheap public transport is literally always at the door.
Cape Town:
Without sounding too much like a tourist brochure, this is one of the best, most beautiful, culturally rich and diverse, fun and vibrant cities in the world.
Hike at Kirstenbosch, swim at Clifton, drive around Chapman's peak, go wine-tasting at Stellenbosch or Durbanville, surf at Llandudno, go kite surfing at Table View, indulge in Cape Malay cuisine, go to the theatre or the opera or the ballet or to music gigs or art exhibitions, go clubbing - the list is literally endless, and you need a lifetime to discover all that this city has to offer.
The weather is always mild, and as my flat is north-facing it is always sunny and warm.
About Us
I am a twenty-six-year-old professional who would like to take a sabbatical.
I am neat, clean, responsible and passionate about photography, writing and travelling.
I love living in Cape Town, and I love my home.
I am looking for someone who would be excited to experience my amazing city, and who would be willing to allow me the opportunity to explore theirs.
