Our Home
Superb artist's apartment in a beautiful Hausmann-style building from the early twentieth century near the biggest beech forest in europe. It has high ceilings and an authentic fool wooden floor everywhere.
The apartment is first floor with an elevator.
We have 2 bedrooms with two big bed and one bathroom with a bath, shower and overhead shower. The salon and a dining room with a balcony are by the garden side. The kitchen, by the garden side is fully equipped with all the electric appliances. There is one bathroom with a bath, shower and overhead shower. There is internet in all the rooms with the electrical wiring.
Our date for 2014: From sunday 2th of march to 9th of march. From sunday 6th of april to sunday 20th of avril. For july and august: anytime with a minimum of 3 weeks and a maximum 6 weeks. From sunday 21th of décembre 2014 to sunday 4 janvier 2015.
Our Neighbourhood 
With its magnificent architecture, our neighbourhood is in itself well worth a visit. The Brugmann area also called the little "Neuilly" is the most beautiful in brussels. Central location, but very quiet and peaceful. With its magnificent architecture, our neighbourhood is in itself well worth a visit.
All kinds of shops are in a walking distance, as well as several museums and all the attractions of the capital of Europe are so closed. By express train Paris is under 1h22 hours travel, London 2hours travel and Amsterdam 1h50 from the station in Brussels which is not very far from here by tram.
This is a safe, quiet and clean neighborhood. Old district with parisian style houses and buildings, very close to a commercial street ( 5 minutes by walk) and also close to the green lung of Brussels, one of the largest suburban forests in Europe which is the "Forêt de Soignes" with its 40.000 ha and the big park the "Bois de la Cambre" where you can picnic or go for lovely walks. There are also plenty of trendy restaurants close by, very good italians and local food mostly.
Also nearby, you will find the Grand Place, the Place du Sablon with its antique shops and our famous Marcolini chocolate boutique, the Stock Exchange, designer shops and discover our famous clothes designer for clothes, Dries Van Noten, Martin Margiela, etc., several museums, the European Commission and the European Parliament, the NATO Headquarters, the Atomium, as well as parks, etc. There is also something very special in brussels: Nemo33, which is the world's deepest indoor diving pool in the world.
About Us
I am artist painter and my partner is an event organizer. We are in our forties. We love art in the widest sense of the word. We love to travel too and we have already lived abroad, in: France, India and Australia. We speak several languages, including English. We are non-smokers.
We already did two swapping with marvelous people, and we really liked it.
We don't have children, but we like to travel, time to time, with our niece of 13 years old and one of a friend of her.
I'm sure that you will enjoy staying in our apartment. We guarantee to look after your home very well just as we look after ours. We are we looking forward to do our first exchange, which we think is the best way for us to travel.
