Overlooking Llanfairfechan beach, Puffin Island, and the North Wales coast.
Balmoral is a former Victorian seaside hotel, now converted to two apartments overlooking the sea.
We are now using our own home to do house swaps along with our holiday apartments.
Our Neighbourhood 
The Balmoral Holiday Apartment is on the promenade at Llanfairfechan, a small North Wales coastal resort village, with spectacular views out to sea towards the Isle of Anglesey, Puffin Island, and the Great Orme at Llandudno.
The Snowdonia Mountains are a National Park and are simply stunning, and make a magnificent backdrop to the village.
The newly renovated two-bedroom self-catering apartment was formally part of the Balmoral Hotel, built during the reign of Queen Victoria.
We are less than 100 yards from the beach, and on occasion you can see porpoise from the lounge window.
The Holiday apartment has two bedrooms.
Being in such a wonderful position between mountains and sea, the holiday apartment is ideal for a lazy getaway, or the perfect place to stay for anyone who enjoys active holidays, with such an array of places to visit, and all kinds of activities to enjoy throughout North Wales.
About Us
My wife and I have just retired from mental health nursing after 39 years.
I was given the Career-Long Achievement Award by the Welsh Assembly Government just before I retired.
We are adjusting to retirement, and enjoy travelling.
We have been to Australia, Bali, India, Singapore, Hong Kong, Spain, France and Ireland in recent years.
We have done house swaps on occasions.
We hope to go to New Zealand in the future.
Our apartment, which was recently purchased and renovated, will prop up our pension and enable us to continue our travels.
We have enjoyed meeting our visitors, many of whom have returned year after year, enjoying the quiet village life and the many things to see and do in North Wales.
We have had visitors from all parts of the world, which has added to the pleasure of our new business.
