Our Home
We have a lovely, spacious apartment on the outskirts of Paris. It has three bedrooms, one for us parents, with a double bed, and two more for the children, each with a single loft bed plus an extra sofa bed.
There is a comfortable and fully equipped kitchen, with a dining area with a TV.
There is also a spacious lounge with cable TV and a large sofa bed which can sleep two people.
The table in the dining room is large enough for six (if one uses the extension leaves).
There is a nice bathroom with a bathtub.
The parents' bed room is spacious and has large closets.
Separate toilet.
Sports equipment is available, such as an exercise bike, dumbbells, etc.
Finally, underground parking is available (with a surveillance camera), and there is a caretaker in the building.
Our Neighbourhood
A perfect location for exploring Paris, whether by car or by public transport.
There is a RER B station nearby, as well as tram line (T3) and several bus lines.
We are just a few minutes away from Parc Montsouris, and a few tram stops from Porte d'Orléans.
The tram also has various other drop-off points which are convenient for lots of other nice parts of Paris and the surrounding area.
There is a local market twice a week, Wednesdays and Saturday mornings.
There are also various supermarkets, butchers, bakeries etc nearby.
There are several doctors nearby, as well as the Bicêtre hospital in Kremlin-Bicêtre, in case of any emergency.
About Us
We are a family of four: Nelson (39), Severine (36), Jordan (13) and Romain (9).
Nelson works as a drivers in the public transport sector, and I am a customer relations manager for a telecommunications company.
This is our first experience of home exchanging.
However, we have read lots of testimonials from people who have done this kind of holiday, so we would like to try it too, and quite likely will become addicted!
