Our Neighbourhood

We're located on a lovely tree-lined street within walking-distance of the lake and near Loyola University. The Redline Subway (a couple of blocks away) will take you south into Lakeview, Boystown and Downtown and on to UChicago and north into Evanston.

The Clark 22 bus runs into Andersonville (a few minutes away) which is a vibrant neighborhood with plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and boutique shops.

About Us

I am looking to swap the Berlin apartment for something equivalent in Frankfurt/Main this coming academic year - either for the winter semester or the whole year.

We have had great luck swapping in the past, in Paris, Marseille and Provence.

We are graduate students, based in Chicago for the time-being.

More about us

We are working towards phds in art history and literature respectively.

We have a close relationship to Berlin and have been living here on and off for the past 4 years. We love the cultural diversity it offers and its non-stop embrace of contemporary (and non-contemporary) arts.

Chicago meanwhile is like the Berlin of the United States. In both cities, we would be happy to offer you any advice on museums, theatres or excursions!
