Townhouse close to Granada and the Sierra Nevada ski resort in Andalucia. View of the mountains from terrace. Recent construction, secure, marble floors, garage, 3 bedrooms plus loft. Currently looking for a Christmas 2009 exchange in London, but will consider other locations.

Granada is easy and inexpensive to reach from many places in Europe via the airport in Malaga. Malaga is about 1.5 hours by bus or car. There are also some flights into the Granada airport.


Our Neighbourhood

The Alhambra, the Sierra Nevada, the Alpujarras, the Mediterranean. Located about 4km from the center of Granada, excellent bus connection to town. Our town is the last town before the road begins to climb to the Sierra ski area. It rarely snows, and is often sunny in the winter.

Very well situated for outdoor activities, biking, hiking, skiing and motorcycle riding (I have a Zero-X electric motorcycle - awesome!), as well as the cultural activities of Granada and the Alhambra.

Note that our town is very hilly, so either be prepared to climb 200 meters up a steep hill, or rent a small car. Large cars just don't work out well in Granada due to the small streets.


About Us

I'm an engineer/entrepreneur working with electric vehicles. My wife is a social worker and also teaches English. We are a family of four, American ex-pats. Our two (11 and 13) children go to school here in Cenes de la Vega, so we are limited to school holidays.

We are looking for travel in Europe, any place that is easy to reach from Granada or Malaga.
