House in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (A.O.N.B.), in an elevated position in the Clwydian Range of hills on the slopes of Moel Famau - a large hill and major landmark.

Our Neighbourhood

The house is situated in Moel Famau Country Park, which is a beautiful upland country park area with woodland and tracks with great walking, mountain biking and picnicking.

Located between the historic towns of Mold and Ruthin, the house is well placed, enjoying a rural location, yet near to supermarkets, Mold market, theatre, sightseeing in the area (eg Llangollen) and with easy motorway access to Liverpool, Manchester and Chester. Snowdonia National Park and Angelsey are a 1 hour drive away.

The house is on a hill with lovely views all round.

About Us

We are a family of six: a gallery curator and a paediatric nurse, with four very well behaved children aged 17, 15, 13 and 8 who will respect your property. We enjoy beautiful unspoilt countryside as well as atmospheric towns and cities.

Our interests range from music and visual arts to sports and outdoor pursuits.

We are interested in swaps to the South of France or Spain for the summer of 2015 of around 2-3 weeks.

We may consider swaps at other times of year Feb/April/Oct (school holidays).

We could also be open to other locations.
