Our Home

Very nice, clean and comfortable apartment (115 m2) in a small-size building. Great views from all rooms. Kostel svatého Và¡clava (1297) from the entrance hall and kitchen, Silesian Ostrava Castle (1280) from the bedroom upstairs, main central square with 16th-century old city hall building from another two bedrooms.

Apartment consists of a spacious and modern living room, three good-size bedrooms, big study room with an additional bed, a fully equipped kitchen, separate corner bathtub and shower cabin in the bathroom.
Ostrava is the greenest city in the Czech Republic, a spacious metropolis packed full of beautiful architecture, with plenty to see and do all year round.
Our apartment is large enough for 6 people. We sincerely invite you to visit our beautiful city.

Also Ostrava is a good base for one-day trips to medieval Olomouc, Brno or Krakow in Poland (Wroclaw and Poznan are also not far away as the numerous another charming small polish towns). The railway system works just excellent and Ostrava is a big transport hub of the region.

We are family of four - two adults and two children. We have been swapping since 2008. We have already done over 15 home exchanges and always had very good experiences. We are extremely respectful people and well aware how important it is to take good care of other people's homes.

I'm piano teacher, my husband is university professor and our son Artiom is 18 - playing piano and our 6 year old daughter Yvette likes to supervise her brother's homework :-)
