Plenty of books and games for indoor days, large utility room for outdoor clothes. Our home is on our 8-acre croft, with cows, sheep and poultry. Guests aren't expected to care for the animals, but there are plenty of fresh eggs!

Regular flights from Glasgow and Edinburgh to Stornoway make getting to Lewis easier than you might imagine.

Our Neighbourhood

Located on the wild west coast of Lewis, near unspoilt, empty, white, sandy beaches, with wonderful country walks just out the back door. Internationally important archaeological sites, such as Calanais Standing Stones and Carloway Broch, less than 5 miles distant.

Local craft shops, cafes, museums and small art galleries are complemented by a larger gallery, museum, library, shopping and excellent restaurants in Stornoway, 17 miles away. Above all a visit to Lewis offers peace and the chance to rest.
