Built to our own design, this timber house is set in lawned gardens, previously a cider-apple orchard.
The open-plan living area comprises a dining area opening onto a decked terrace, a lounge, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The master bedroom, with en-suite bathroom is also on the ground floor.

Upstairs there are two double bedrooms, a single room, and the second bathroom.
Overlooking the ground floor, a mezzanine serves as a “den”, with sofa-bed, TV with DVD and Video, full-sized football table and electronic dartboard.
The decking behind the house is ideal for eating out, and there is a gas barbecue at guests' disposal.

La Bréhaudais is a hamlet near the picturesque village of Langrolay, in the heart of the Rance Valley, within 15 minutes of three of the most beautiful towns in Brittany:
Dinard is a sophisticated “Belle à‰poque” coastal resort, across the estuary from
St Malo, the fortified port famous for its pirates and tumultuous history.
Dinan, our local market town, is a medieval splendour: narrow streets of half-timbered houses, and well preserved ramparts towering above the pretty port.

About Us

I teach French in a nearby secondary school, and my (French) wife works part-time at the University. Jules and Elise are both hard-working (and very mature) school students, into art and music. We have a holiday home near St Malo in Brittany, France, which we may also be interested in swapping in the future.
