Beautiful waterfront island retreat on a small island in Moreton Bay. Close access to Stradbroke, Fraser and Moreton islands. Ideal for travellers looking for a comfortable, quiet holiday retreat where there are no sealed roads, very few people and total peace and quiet. Master bedroom on the waterfront with a second bedroom sleeping three.

Large garden with fruit trees, wind mill, fresh bore water for a healthy getaway. Only 20 minutes drive to Brisbane city centre and 50 minutes to Brisbane's Gold Coast. Lots to do in surrounding areas but little to do on the island but relax and enjoy the views with a good book or take a dip in the water, a cruise in the boat or a spot of fishing. The house is an old Queenslander, a colonial style house that my father, a Master Craftsman, built.

Fishing, boating, swimming, lots of sun, fresh air and peace and quiet. Access to surrounding islands such as Moreton, Stradbroke and the popular tourist destination Fraser Island. Only 20 minutes drive into Brisbane city centre.

About Us

We are a couple in our 50s who will be travelling to London from November to January to meet our daughter who will be having her first baby. Bev is an artist and Richard a soon to be retired Building Estimator. We have three grown up children, living in London, Melbourne and Brisbane.
