Our Home

Ours is a late 18th century home, with an area of 250 square metres, full of charm, which we love.
It consists of a dining room, a TV room with a sofa bed for two people, a large living room with two sofabeds for two people, an office and a kitchen underneath.

On the first floor, we have 4 bedrooms, a bathroom, a WC with shower and another office and sanitary facilities. The outer part of our house is composed of an enclosed courtyard of 200 square meters, with a small vegetable garden and some fruit trees, annexe has not yet upgraded, toilets and a shady porch.
We can leave you a 307 Peugeot Break vehicle.


Our Neighbourhood

At the heart of the Roman Saintonge and Abbeys. Only 1 hour from the Sea (Royan, La Rochelle) and 1 hour from the islands of Oléron and Aix.

Burie is a small village of 1200 people but has shops for all the necessary daily shopping: bakeries, supermarket, pharmacy, medical practice, tobacconist, newspapers, restaurant, garages, service station, dry cleaning, and butchers.
Walking or hiking starts at the edge of the village, near the woods. It is a place where you can explore the many Romanesque churches and abbeys in the region.


About Us

We are a couple with 2 children aged 13 and a son older than 30 years. I am a teacher and I am 50 years old, my husband id 46 years old and is responsible for the trust service Udaf. We are both passionate about reading, our son Jean enjoys riding, Auguste athletics and Pierre, the eldest is the heart surgeon at C.H.U in Bordeaux.
