Our Home
charming single villa with a big, lovely garden near Rome, near the beaches of the medteranian sea and the beautiful lake, sleep 6.Good restaurants! There are a lot of flowers and a wonderful view down the valley where the sun sets.
only five minutes from the train station directed to Rome (about 40 minutes), 30 minutes from the seaside with nice white sandbeaches and only 10 minutes from the Lago di Bracchiano with it's enormous castle (Tom Cruise married there!:)). Around the lake there are three beautiful medieval towns with nice, little restaurants (fish is very good there), sandy beaches, canoeing and surfing offered everywhere, it's a real paradise for children! Our region is very rich of archaeologically important points (like the necropolis of Cerveteri).You are near to Maremma, Pisa and Viterbo. The house is rural, but the next villages are only five minutes from here.
Our Neighbourhood
There are a lot of olive-trees, roses, lavender, rosemary and sage, fruit trees and all kind of flowers. We have a wooden terrace, covered with a sun blind, where we usually have all our meals during the summer. Outside in the garden there is a table-tennis and behind the house a little soccer-ground
There are bikes and in-line-skates for children, There are lots of beautiful thermal-baths all around where you can spend the afternoons or the evenings relaxing in 50 degree hot water coming directly out of the earth. We live in a volcanic zone, geologically very interesting and nature protection area. There are beautiful walks to do, in the mixed forest where you meet wild horses, donkeys, foxes.
About Us
We are five persons: I am a German woman of 36 years, my husband Gianni is 52 years old,Our children are seven, twelve and thirteen and speak German as well as Italian. We are very respectful as are our children and will leave your property as we found it.
The house is a good starting point for a very varied program: going to the sea or to the lake, visiting Rome, going to Tuscany, visiting castles, ruins and tombs, relaxing in the garden!
