Large townhouse in a cul-de-sac in a very quiet neighbourhood a short walk from the centre of Poitiers.

Kitchen, large living room, six bedrooms, three bathrooms, three toilets, open terraces, garden.

Our Neighbourhood

Poitiers has 125,000 inhabitants, which makes it a medium-sized town by French standards. The city centre is more than 1,200 years old. There are old narrow streets, many Gothic and Romanesque churches, and small, good and cheap restaurants.

The Futuroscope is a theme park a couple of miles from the house.

There is a TGV high speed train line connecting Poitiers with Paris.

We are one and a half hours from Paris, two hours from Charles de Gaulle Airport, one hour from the Atlantic coast and the very nice city of La Rochelle, two hours from Bordeaux, and four hours from the Spanish border.

The Marais Poitevin marshland is forty-five minutes from Poitiers. There you can cruise the small canals in an rowing boat - a wonderful experience during the hot summer months.

There are also opportunities for horse riding and swimming nearby.
