Small but charming (60 sq.m.) 2 bedroom flat in Lisbon, Next to large train station. Nice view of river and harbor, airy, lovely light.
Large kitchen, fully equipped and with great espresso machine, nicely sized living room with lots of books and artworks. Nice double bedroom with cozy slanted roof.

Smaller bedroom, now converted to artist's studio. Wooden floors all around.
18th. century building a bit run down. A bit noisy due to proximity of train station but endurably so. Broadband connection. Nice DVD collection.

Our Neighbourhood GolfBeach

Very safe. 20 min walk/5 min bus ride from Lisbon city center. Plenty of buses. 2 min walk to a major train station, large taxi stand and budget car rentals. a short walk from newly developed riverfront (clubs, restaurants and cafes, gourmet food, some shopping).

20 minutes by car to beaches in the Cascais coast and golfing or 45 min if you count bus + train.
Walking distance of the typical Alfama neighborhood, feira da ladra fleamarket and 3 museums (Militar, Museu do Azulejo and Museu da àgua).

Early 30's mixed couple (Portuguese guy, Dutch/Indonesian Girl), no kids. Artist wife and Writer/Chef husband.

Visual Arts, Books, Food and Cooking, Music, Travel as prime interests.

Easy going people with more ambition than money and a good sense of humor.
