Our Neighbourhood

We live on the fringe of small former mill town of Shaw Oldham which is mid way between the major cities of Manchester and Leeds. We are within minutes of fantastic open moor land and old stone villages , there are many good walks from the door step.

More about the neighbourhood

There are lots of historical houses in the area; Chatsworth, Tatton Park, Sizergh Castle, Hadden Hall etc.
All amenities and shopping are minutes away, there are many good pubs and restaurants serving inexpensive food to choose from.
There are theatres, galleries and museums locally as well as in Leeds and Manchester ( both 30 /40 minutes away. )

We are a retired couple in our early 70's, and would take great care of your home.
We are non smoking and would hope folks would smoke outside.
We could arrange pick up from airport.
A car is included in the exchange.
Our home sleeps 3 comfortably.
