Toowoomba sits 700m above sea level on the Great Dividing Range, an easy 1.5 hrs drive from Brisbane, 2 hrs to the beautiful beaches and towns of the Gold and Sunshine Coasts.
Toowoomba a city of nearly 100,000 is renowned for its milder temperatures, beautiful gardens and period Queensland architecture.

There are scenic walks along the rim of the range and through the nearby National Parks. Enjoy gourmet cafes, delicious restaurants, art galleries and local wineries. Travel through the hinterland towns and discover the wine trail at Stanthorpe. Stay overnight at Talgai Homestead a pioneering sheep station or drive west and discover the Bunja Mountains where aboriginal legends abound.

About Us

Lindy and I are both Nurses, Lindy works in Child Health and I am an educator. We have 3 daughters,and we plan to stay in the UK for 12 months, working and travelling. Our eldest is taking a year off to travel through Europe before starting at Uni. The younger two are 11 and 14.
I was born in England and have lots of family there.

More about us

We havent exchanged before but are excited about the opportunity to see Europe with our children.
A car is negotiable.
