Picturesque 200+ year old cottage, renovated with beautiful, small walled-garden. Situated in old centre of a friendly village on the outskirts of Leicester - conveniently placed for exploring United Kingdom and Europe.

Conveniently located close to motorways and transport links, only 1 hr and 10 mins to London by rail and Eurostar. Car available (automatic) and a cleaner who comes once a fortnight.
In addition the use of a two and/or three bedroom house in the North Dordogne region of France could be part of the exchange.


Our Neighbourhood

Leicester is centrally placed in the east midlands with excellent transport links within United Kingdom and easy frequent cheap flights to Europe.
From my cottage you can walk for many miles along a river and canal network and yet within minutes you can enjoy the benefits of a medium sized city with its rich cultural and historical mix.

About Us

I am a single woman, self-employed, who works from home as a childrens' writer. I am surrounded by good, friendly neighbours who would be helpful and welcoming.
I am looking for any exchange in or near to Sydney (ideally northern beaches) in order to be close to my daughter and my grandchildren when I visit.

Ideally, during the period from November 2016 through to April/May 2017.
