Lovely spacious home, set in private garden. Pretty village with supermarket,chemist newsagent. Barbeque, swing and tabletennis table. Conservatory. Piano.
Friendly neighbours. Good base for walking in Derbyshire.Excellent rail and bus service.

Our Neighbourhood Golf

Good access to Nottingham which has great shopping,cinema, restaurants,theatres,castle.Nottingham Forest and Notts County Football grounds and world famous Trent Bridge Cricket ground all 8 miles away. Our village has 4 pubs,and a few shops.Good for walks and cycle rides.

Locally there are good bistros and a public indoor swimming pool and sports centre.Tennis club membership.Close to National Trust properties and Sherwood Forest and legend of Robin Hood. Situated in the Trent valley on the edge of lovely countryside,it is only 45 minutes ride to beautiful walking in Derbyshire's Peak District. You can easily get to the Cotswolds,Birmingham,Warwick, York for the day.


About Us

Peter and Kay, and two girls aged 17 and 15.Girls are into fashion and music. Food features heavily in our life - we love cooking, eating (especially outdoors), and visiting new places. We only have fish for pets!(perhaps you could feed them?). We love where we live-it's green and yet is perfectly situated for easy access to other places.

More about us

We have taken a lot of trouble with our home and would treat yours with the same amount of care as our own. Our ideal holiday would be somewhere warm and sunny( up to 30 degrees C ) somewhere spacious and quiet where we can relax with garden and pool and then visit or do something interesting on alternate days. Love Italy,France Spain but open to anything for 2 wks in the summer.
