Our Home

Beautiful suburban 3 bedroom house only 3 miles from Manchester City centre. We have a real open fire, shower wet room, loft/office room and an open kitchen dinner, which looks out on to the garden. To stay here you will have to love cats and be prepared to look after two (Grace and Craig) during your stay. Our cats are house cats and stay in.

The house was built in 1908, which makes it Victorian. Our house has lots of character including wooden floors to the downstairs and the decor is a mixture of contemporary and antique furniture. We are a non-smoking household with a clean and tidy environment in which we take pride. Our house is situated near to local transport - bus, train and airport and is in close proximity to the city centre where you can shop and dine. As we have used the smaller bedroom for our wardrobes we have two functional bedrooms and could accommodate up to 3/4 people.


Our Neighbourhood

Our house in situated in a Cul-de-sac, which means we have no through traffic, and at most times the street can be quiet. The neighbours on the street are very welcoming and friendly, everyone looks out for each other and there is a real sense of community here.

More about the neighbourhood

Twice/Three times a year we have a street party with food and drinks giving everyone in our road the opportunity to come out for the night and to get to know each other a little better.

We are close to both train and bus stops going into the city centre and we have a 24 hr supermarket less than a mile away and more local smaller shops about 10 minutes away.

Burnage is also close to Chorlton and Didsbury which are two great places for any dinning experience. www.didsburylife.com
