Our Home

Our spacious Edwardian house accommodates up to 8 people. In a quiet suburban location. The house faces open parkland yet central London is only 25 minutes away by rail. We raised our family of girls here and working in the entertainments industry, the house has an "arty" feel to it.

Hi-fi, piano and musical instruments will be available for your use. The house is detached. so you won't disturb our (very friendly) neighbours! Wi-fi internet access is available and we have all the usual household appliances. The road outside has recently been "calmed" adding to the appeal of the area. There are bikes available to use - the more adventurous could be out in the Kent countryside in 30 minutes - and there is VW Polo (non-auto gearbox) for use (subject to insurance arrangements)

Our Neighbourhood Golf

The neighbourhood is quiet and reflects the mainly professional nature of the inhabitants. The leafy green open spaces of Eltham Park are right outside the front door. There are hard and grass-surface tennis courts plus a children's playground. The park is flanked by Eltham Warren golfcourse (9-hole) which may be available for use by guests.

Eltham town centre, with shops and supermarkets is a 10 minute walk away - as is the mainline rail station which has regular services to central London via London Bridge station, making it very convenient for the South Bank and the Tate Modern, plus the historical City itself. Greenwich with its maritime history and observatory is a short journey away - and the 15th century Eltham Palace, where Henry VIII hunted and Elizabeth I grew up is just around the corner.

About Us

We are a family of 6, with three grown-up daughters (26, 24 and 19) plus my eldest daughter's partner. We like quiet holidays, with a good balance between the pool and the local sights.
