Our Home

Our two-storey house is right in the Plateau neighbourhood of Montreal, one of the hippest districts in North America.

We've converted a Victorian duplex into a single family dwelling so our home is nearly all renovated, spacious and has two bathrooms, an art studio, a guest bedroom and a home office, an open living-room kitchen with a wood burning stove and a backyard garden. We are artist/musicians with two sons so our home is filled with paintings, music, computers, books and toys. Our house sleeps 6 comfortably.


Our Neighbourhood

This is the country in the city, quiet yet less than one block from boutique shopping, cafes, terraces and the best restaurants in the city. Easy walking distance to the beautiful parks and we are right next to a major bike path. We are less than a block away from a pretty cobbled stone street and one of the main shopping streets on the Plateau.

There is a Bixi bike sharing station right on our street and we are two blocks from Metro Mont-Royal or a short walk from Sherbrooke metro.


About Us

Jeannette is a multi-media artist, Michel is a musician/composer and we have two sons who are great travellers.

We have had a successful home exchange in Paris thanks to this site. This year we are looking for exchanges with homes in Spain, France or Italy, or someone to rent our place while we are overseas this summer in July.
