Our Home
Modern 3-apartment ground floor flat in prestigious development in Glasgow City Centre, with off-street parking.
Large open-plan living space, two bedrooms - one double, one single - kitchen and bathroom.
Fresh decor, wooden laminate flooring throughout and modern furniture emphasises functionality over fussiness.
Central heating and double-glazing means you won't freeze no matter what Scotland's climate decides to throw at you.
Our Neighbourhood
The flat is located on the edge of Glasgow Green - home to the People's Palace and Winter Gardens - in the heart of the oldest sector of the city.
Glasgow Cathedral, Museum of Religious Life & Art and the city's oldest dwelling-house are a leisurely stroll away, just up the High Street.
Merchant City dining, pubs, theatres and music venues are a 5-minute walk from your front door.
10-15 minute's walk will take you to the city's main train or bus stations, with links to the whole of Scotland and the UK, or to Glasgow Underground stations from which you can explore the beautiful West End of the city, with its Botanic Gardens, University and Glasgow's Museum & Art Galleries at Kelvingrove, home to Dali's 'Christ of St. John of The Cross'
Outside the rush hour, Edinburgh is a 1 hour drive or 45-minute train ride away. The Old Course at St. Andrew's and Loch Lomond links are an hour or two away. Drive for half an hour in almost any direction and you'll find yourself in the kind of breathtaking, verdant scenery historical romances are built around.
Urbanites won't be disappointed either, with theatres, music venues, lively traditional and 'style' bars and a fine array of Scottish and ethnic restaurants right on your doorstep.
In broader terms, Glasgow is home to a plethora of architectural gems, from the Georgian splendour of the City Chambers on George Square to Edwardian Nouveau stylings by the likes of Charles Rennie MacKintosh and Alexander 'Greek' Thomson, as well as many more modest sandstone tenement flats which will seem immediately familiar to Upper West Side and Park Slope brownstone dwellers.
About Us
I'm a music producer/musician and photographer with a teenage son who uses a wheelchair (though I often travel solo).
I'm a house-trained non-smoker, very respectful of other people's homes.
My favourite cities are New York, London and, you guessed it, Glasgow.
