Our Home

The house consists of five apartments. One of them is ours placed on the 2nd floor. Most of the other owners are elderly and / or retired, which means it is a quiet home). The 5 rooms in our apartment have been completely renovated two years ago. Look at the pictures and impress yourself.

If you fancy to stay in our home and your time or destination doesn't suit with ours don't worry, we also consider to rent our home out (minimum stay 1 month).

The apartment has 1 twin - bedroom, 1 single bedroom, 1 bathroom with toilet and washing machine, 1 guest toilet, a big entrance, open kitchen with an island and a strong extractor, 1 dining room with a cosy view to the rear side of the chimney, a generous living-room with chimney and a sliding door to get onto the covered 20 sq. m balcony with wooden slated floor.

The living room has also a 11 sq. m TV area including a huge twin - lounge which let you curl up easily. The living - and dining rooms have dimmed lights. Enjoy the awesome view on second floor by watching sunset while overlooking the roof of the neighbours' house. Start from living-room getting upstairs you get into the room used as an office for two. Sunlight will flood through the office entering the roof window. The apartment is very sunny due to its south orientation. Enjoy the evenings in summertime on the balcony until sunset at 10 p.m. It's just a dream.

The apartment is perfect for a couple. Due to modern and art furniture, pupils are undesired. Non smokers are preferred. Open parking is available for one car. No pets. Whereas the house does not have an elevator, it is improperly for disabled person. Our best friends will be your English speaking representative.


Our Neighbourhood

Our apartment is located in the suburb of Zurich one of the biggest towns in Switzerland. Gossau ZH is sensational located. We are not in the crowded City and not in a rural area. It is perfect for to have his privacy and even so being well connected to city life.

You will get to the centre of Zurich within 30 minutes by train.

More about the neighbourhood

The apartments address in Gossau ZH is quiet, clean, friendly, safe and known as particularly popular. Switzerland operates a perfect rail network. Maybe you not even need a car to get around Switzerland. The network provider offers special subscriptions for tourists and time periods.

Switzerland is quite small and you will get to all places within short time. 30 Min by train to the famous lake of Zurich. Hiking just behind the door) or go by train up to the Alps area of Switzerland. Gossau ZH is central and you will get to the border of Switzerland within 3hrs. Also Austria is even one sidestep to the East. The border to South Germany is just 1 ¼ hrs drive. Mountain climbing and easy hiking trails in the mountains within one hour drive.

In case you wish to stay within the Mountain area, keep in mind that you will have to sit in the train for maxim. 3 hrs drive one way. And if you go by car, think., you will not be the only one who will stay in the traffic jam). Our apartment is excellent for all interests: hiking, swimming, city tours, walking along the lakes (Greifensee, Lake of Zurich, Bodensee,…).

Switzerland is clean and you can drink water from all wells placed in public areas. In the city of Zurich they are even fresh spring water. Also at home, we are fame for high quality water you can drink from the tap.

Do not underestimate the Swiss Alps we have had many would-be alpinists who lost their lives! The Alps are not only a Tourist attraction they might also be dangerous. Professional, guided tours are available. Explore skiing, skating, cross-country skiing or go sledding, that's pure fun!

St. Moritz is just 2h by train and you will feel like one of the V.I.P.s (except you are already one of these).
