Our Neighbourhood BeachGolfSkiing

We have never locked our doors! Frank and Trish across the street keep a pretty close eye on everything. Jim and Angie walk thier dog and ours go along for the fun of it. Once in a while we hear FORE! coming from the golf course and Gerry goes outand puts another lattice on his (windowless) garage window.

More about the neighbourhood

There are 10 homes or so that are in our little are and is seems quite secluded because you can't see any others but we are really right in town. There is a great big boat on the lake that Walter swears at every afternoon at 4 when the guy does his showoff race in front of the beach. Other than that the sound of the waterfall, the singing of the birds and call of the wild is about all you hear. Our home is 2.2 kms from 5 miles of beach and the town of Peachland pop 5000. Peachland provides all the neccessities, wineries, grocery store, funky little shops. Kelowna is 20 kms away but I much prefer Penticton 35 kms the other way. Westbank is 10 kms with all the charm of the box stores.
