Rural family home, in North West England,on edge of West Lancashire Plain, Close (1/2 hour) to Manchester and Liverpool.

Our home has a modern kitchen, comfortable lounge and our dining room has an open fireplace. There is a large playroom opening out onto the child friendly back garden.

We have two bedroom and a bathroom on the second floor and views of the West Lancashire plain from the third floor bedroom. There is a study/ fourth bedroom on the ground floor.We have central heating and double glazing throughout.

Our Neighbourhood BeachGolf

Our home is in the small quiet village( of Hilldale (pop 300), located 1 mile from the larger busier village of Parbold (Pop 3000). This has many services, small businesses and some excellent schools. Cyclists and walkers often pass through our village enjoying the peace and beauty of the surroundings.

Hilldale is located only 10 minutes drive from the M6 motorway with easy rapid access to many parts of North West England. A frequent rail service operates from Pabold.

For lovers of the outdoors the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks are just over an hour away, and Formby sands and the West Pennine moors are closer to home. Scotland and Snowdonia are about two hours away.
Hilldale is equidistant from three North West Cities: Preston, England newest City, Liverpool (European Capital of culture 2008) and Manchester host to the 2002 commonwealth games.

Close proximity to both Liverpool and Manchester airports and fierce competition means that our location is also a great base from which to explore other areas of europe.
