Our Home

Lovely home with a large deck and front yard in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. Comfy couches in living room, queen size canopy bed in master bedroom. 4 additional bedrooms sleep 6 more people, so there is room for a total of 8. Well-equipped kitchen and a gas grill out back. We rent out our garage, which is decorated as a studio apartment.

Our tenants are very quiet and friendly people.

We own a Toyota Sienna minivan, which has 8 seats and a large trunk. You are welcome to use it while you are here, and we can even leave it at the airport for you to drive it back to the house.

Our Neighbourhood

Appr. 10 min. drive to city center, close to bus stops. Beautiful area with river and hiking trails is just around the corner. Reykjavik's one beach, which has heated ocean water, is appr. 10 min. drive away. 3 grocery stores, 2 convenience stores, a few restaurants, and a pharmacy are within walking distance.

About Us

We are a family of 5, husband and wife and 3 children ages 8, 12, and 18. Husband is a computer scientist, and wife is a psychiatric nurse. We are laid-back and love to travel. We have done 6 home exchanges before, and all have been great experiences!
